Your payment is protected until you confirm that the domain is in your account. If the sale fails, you get your money back.

When a purchase is refunded#

  • The seller does not transfer the domain before the deadline.
  • A dispute is decided in your favour.
  • Our team cancels the sale, for example because of a policy breach.

A refund can be full or partial, depending on the case. Marketplace fees you paid are refunded with the purchase in a full refund.

How the money comes back#

  • Most refunds go back through the payment method you used. Your bank or provider then needs some time to show it.
  • When that is not possible, our team arranges a manual refund and tells you how.
  • Escrow payments are refunded by the escrow provider, not by AIODomain.

When there is no refund#

Once you confirm receipt, the sale is complete and cannot be refunded through the marketplace. Only confirm when the domain is really in your registrar account.

Unpaid orders#

An order you have not paid yet does not need a refund. Just cancel it, or let it expire.

Read the full Refund Policy. To ask about a refund, open a ticket with the order number.
