Domain value estimate

What could a domain name sell for? Type a name and see an automated estimate, the reasons behind it and how sure the model is.

How the estimate works

The model looks at the name the way a domain investor does and gives every step a weight. You see each step above the result.

  • Extension. .com is the yardstick; other extensions sell for a share of a .com price.
  • Length. Short names are scarce, so they are worth more. Very long names are worth less.
  • Words. Real dictionary words are easy to say and remember. Random letters, hyphens and mixed digits lower the value.
  • Keywords. Words from busy markets (finance, AI, travel, health and more) add a premium.
  • Comparables. Sales and asking prices of similar names on AIODomain pull the number towards the real market.
  • Confidence. A score from 0 to 100. It rises with recognisable words, a known extension and comparable sales. A low score means a wide range.

An automated estimate from the marketplace's own data and patterns. It is not an appraisal and no guarantee of any price; a broker can give you a considered opinion.
