Listing a domain on AIODomain is free. The marketplace earns a commission only when a domain sells through it.

The commission#

The standard commission is 10% of the sale price. It is taken from the seller's share when the order completes. Some sales follow a different rule, for example for a category, a domain or a seller, and some rules have a minimum or maximum amount.

  • A membership plan can lower your commission. See the plans.
  • A deal made by our broker service uses the broker fee instead.

Where you see the amounts#

Each sale under My Sales has a Money card. It shows the price, the commission and what you receive. You always know your share before the domain is transferred.

Other costs#

  • Payout fee: some payout methods have a fee. It is shown before you request the payout.
  • Escrow fee: when a buyer pays through an escrow service, the provider charges its own fee. See Escrow for sellers.
  • Registrar costs: renewing the domain until the transfer is your own cost.

Next: Earnings and balances.
