  3. What sellers should prepare

Every member account on AIODomain has a type. The type decides which pages you see in your member menu.

The three types#

  • Buyer: search, watch domains, contact sellers, make offers, bid and buy.
  • Seller: list domains, verify ownership, answer inquiries and offers, transfer sold domains and request payouts.
  • Both: everything above in one account. Most domain investors pick this.

Becoming a seller later#

You can start as a buyer and sell later. Open My Domains and use the button to switch your account to selling. Your purchases, messages and watchlist stay where they are.

What sellers should prepare#

  1. Verify your e-mail address. You cannot list domains until it is confirmed.
  2. Have access to the DNS settings of the domains you want to sell.
  3. Add a payout method under Payouts so you can be paid after a sale.
  4. Complete identity verification if the marketplace asks for it before payouts.

Tip: a complete public seller profile builds trust. See Your seller profile, ratings and badges.
